Course Description

ECI IT-A’s+ is a course that will teach and develop the foundational skills needed by today’s computer support technicians. This course teaches the necessary competencies of an entry-level IT professional. It develops and tests for the fundamentals of computer technology, networking and security, as well as the communication skills and professionalism now required of all entry-level IT professionals. The “hands-on” orientation will focus on scenarios in which troubleshooting and tools must be applied to resolve problems.

In this course you will gain the needed knowledge of basic computer hardware and operating systems. You’ll cover the essential principles of installing, building, upgrading, repairing, configuring, troubleshooting, optimizing, diagnosing, and preventive maintenance, with a focus on key element best security practices for business and consumers alike.
